Write scraps on orkut via SMS now
Orkut has added one of the most awaited feature i.e. Notification via SMS. Orkut users in India can now interact with their other Orkut friends using any mobile phone that can send or receive SMS text messages i.e. the phone need not be GPRS enabled.
How to get the notifications.
Just go to ‘Settings’ in your orkut profile and then go to the ‘Mobile’ Tab. You will then see a page wherein you can enter your mobile number to receive notifications. Check the SMS commands for orkuting here.
This feature is available only in India and Brazil. Moreover, Only few operators in India like Aircel, BPL, MTNL, Reliance, Spice and Tata Indicom support this feature.
